Employment

The Nurses Board of Victoria is a self-funded statutory authority incorporated under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005.

The Board regulates and promotes nurses in the interests of the Victorian public and the nursing profession as a whole. We are proactive in our communications with the public and other bodies, both in Australia and overseas, as we constantly monitor the trends affecting the profession and their delivery of healthcare.

The Board has approximately 60 employees working in our registration, professional conduct, policy research & practice standards and corporate support & finance programs. Our office is located in the Melbourne CBD, a stone's throw away from Southern Cross (previously Spencer Street) Station and major shopping and dining areas.

New positions will be notified by an update to this page, as well as notification in The Age Newspaper.
