Nurse Practitioner Program

The Nurses Board of Victoria has responsibility under Section 118 of the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 to endorse the registration for the protected title of nurse practitioner. A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse educated and authorised to function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role. (ANMC National Competency Standards for the Nurse Practitioner).

The below document includes a list of courses approved under the Nurses Act 1993 which also lead to endorsement of nurse practitioner under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005.
